Leah is a creative producer, director and screenwriter who has been working in the entertainment industry for over two decades. As a filmmaker, her short films include Interview Requested and Dirty Laundry. Other directing credits include Officer Grumpy and Nice to Meet You Again. Her script 6:18 to Omaha won the CinemaStreet Women’s Short Screenplay Competition and she was a semi-finalist for the 2019 Made In NY Writers Room Fellowship. Her first feature film is currently in development.
As an actress, she has appeared on and off-Broadway, in film, television, and commercials, including appearances in “New Amsterdam,” “God Friended Me,” “Blindspot,” “The Deuce,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” as well as independent films When the Moon Was Twice as Big, Top Floor, All The Broken Pieces, and the viral video “Postpartum: The Musical.” Onstage, she has performed with Manhattan Theater Club, Mint Theater, Guthrie Theater, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Baltimore CenterStage, Pittsburgh Public Theater, American Players Theater and more.
She lives in New Jersey with her daughter and husband – actor / director / writer / improviser Andy Schneeflock. She enjoys (among other things) history, horsebackriding, podcasts, breakfast, learning about things, and fuzzy socks.
